Rep. Jamie Raskin perfectly mocks Speaker Kevin McCarthy with facts about the Republican’s high-crime district (video)

Republicans have very long blamed criminal offense on Democrat-operate cities, and now (MTG-run) Kevin McCarthy’s Congress is hoping to intervene in Washington D.C. nearby politics with a bill that would dictate penalties on criminal offense. But in fiery remarks manufactured on the flooring yesterday, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D–MD) reminded us which town is amongst the most crime-ridden of all: Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s Bakersfield, California.

“It turns out that Bakersfield, California has a single of the greatest criminal offense rates in The us, recently described as one of the prime 10 deadliest cities in The united states for its dimension, and its crime level is better than that of Washington D.C.,” he claimed (see video clip down below). “And however we are likely to get this chance to kick all around the folks of Washington D.C.?”

Hardly ever one particular to mince terms, he then details out the disgraceful “imaginary, faux, counterfeit grievance” of MAGA lawmakers in opposition to the actual patriots — D.C. inhabitants who function for the Capitol and D.C. law enforcement — who fought to protect them on Jan. 6, summing his statements up by describing how the Republican House “indulge the follies and the fantasies and the pathologies of Donald Trump,” when they “kick all over the people of Washington D.C., who defended us, as patriots, on that day [Jan. 6].”
